Creative Republic was founded in 2004, by two plucky freelancers who were both under-qualified, and over-enthusiastic – the perfect combination for this industry, right?
Over the past two decades, our lack of formal training, and relevant experience, has meant that everything we’ve learned, we’ve learned the hard way, at the recruiting school of hard knocks. It also means that we haven’t inherited all the shitty stuff about our industry, from ghosting candidates, to accepting briefs we don’t understand, from CV slinging, to cutting corners to maximise profits and minimise results for our clients.
We’re not muppets like that.
Working mainly with branding, advertising, and experiential agencies, we find permanent, contract, and freelance roles for canny candidates. We mostly fill London creative jobs, but have worked with clients and candidates everywhere from Amsterdam, to Singapore, via Scunthorpe.
We help people thrive, not survive in freelance jobs.
We kick off our shoes, and watch with satisfaction as startups blossom into global agencies through the placement of key people.
And we give career advice that actually pays off. You are very welcome.
We’re not afraid to be demanding, and picky on behalf of clients, and candidates. We want everyone we work with to get a fair deal, and the best possible results.
We may not change the world with our work, but – to gratuitously use a cliche – we can change your world with the right role, that lights up your life, and wads your wallet.
